Jude Law's Love Child

Jude Law is quite the ladies' man, isn't he? His ex-love, Samantha Burke, a model carrying Jude's child set up a blog giving regular updates on her pregnancy.

The 36-year-old actor is expecting a daughter with Samantha Burke, 24, after a one-night stand in New York at the beginning of the year.

But her internet posts are set to leave him squirming as she promises to “offer her fans a way to keep up with her daily life as she juggles her career and motherhood”.

Their baby is due next month and Ms Burke has already named her Sophia. But cynics are already suggesting the blog is merely capitalising on her new-found fame as it features ads telling readers how to contact her managers.

In the latest blog, she writes: “Only a month to go until I welcome Sophia into this world. I'm excited, of course, but a little anxious too. “There is still so much to do to get ready. With all that I have left to do, I'm going to sign off from this blog for now.

“Be sure to check back with me after Sophia arrives. I can't wait!” The child will be Law's fourth. He has three children, Rafferty, Iris and Rudy, with former wife Sadie Frost.

The actor is due to start his role as Hamlet in a Broadway production the day Sophia is due — 8 October.

Ms Burke is also believed to be giving birth in New York, sparking rumours that Law will be present at the delivery.

Fatty Matt Damon

Matt Damon packed on some 30 pounds for his latest movie The Informant! (hits theaters on September 18) as the goofy and wacky Mark Whitacre. The Bourne star said he had the most fun time while shooting the film, saying he loved not going to the gym afterwards and eating everything and anything he sees. Food, of course.

The Informant! is directed by Steven Soderbergh who already directed a bunch of films starring Matt Damon such as Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, & Thirteen, and The Good Shepherd (Damon with Jolie).

Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the Peak of his career

Do you remember the boy in "Angels in the Outfield"? Yeah. That's him. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who once were just a kid and now, a full-grown, and might I add, a handsome one too, man.

If you didn't know already, this year he starred in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra as Cobra Commander, and the hit American romantic comedy film (500) Days of Summer, where he and co-star Zooey Deschanel are most-acclaimed by critics.

Next year, Gordon-Levitt will star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie Inception.

'Captain Jack' turns into a vampire!

One of Hollywood's brilliant actors (and an absolute favorite of mine), Johnny Depp, is set to join the undead and become a lovelorn vampire. Depp will work with, once again, with his old pal Tim Burton. They both plan to make at least three Dark Shadows movies and the first one is set to be shown in cinemas next year.

2010 will surely be a big year for Depp, with Alice in Wonderland coming out as well as the first Dark Shadows film.

Depp revealed: "I was obsessed with the character as a child. It triggered my earliest desire to become an actor."

I'm thrilled to see Johnny Depp as a vampire. I can almost imagine it.

Brangelina buys a 1000-acre home!

The power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (or Angie as I like to call her 'cause we are THAT close :p) bought a 1000-acre estate in the South of France for all of their kids to enjoy a nice and huge space. And it IS huge. Not to mention it was worth around $60-$70 million.

Back in 2008, they rented a luxurious and private mansion in France and when they come back sometime ago, they decided to purchase it and make it as their own.

"It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence, and it’s absolutely unbelievable..." says one source, according to Hollywood Grind and other popular celebrity news reports.

Brad and Angelina will not be the first, last, or only International Star set to make the South of France a major home base. Historically, royal European nobles and aristocracy have all flocked to the region for it's quiet pace and resort warm to moderately temperate climate feeling.

Some of the couple's will include Johnny Depp and Bono of U2. Now THAT is a good neighborhood.

Paula Abdul quitting 'Idol'

The 47-year-old singer/dancer tweeted Tuesday night that she's quitting the hit show American Idol after 8 years.

"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return" to Fox's singing contest, Abdul said in a posting Tuesday night on her Twitter account. "I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon."

The panel for next season will only include the 2 originals, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, and the newcomer last year, who I don't like AT ALL, Kara DioGuardi.

"What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me," Abdul said to followers on Twitter in announcing her decision. Abdul, a onetime-Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader who became an award-winning choreographer and singer, didn't indicate her post-"Idol" career plans in her tweet.

I was hoping so hard that Kara would leave next season. Although I don't like Paula too much, it just doesn't feel right that she's gone and Kara's around. I'd rather have her than Kara, who's trying hard to be the female version of Simon Cowell. Biatch, puh-lease!
