Actors absent on the 83rd Academy Awards

I'm a bit disappointed with the Oscars this year mainly because there were a lot of actors who weren't present like Inception lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt as well as any other Inception cast. Maybe they're all busy filming a movie and since none of them were really nominated, they decided not to come or maybe Leo is just disappointed as well since he was snubbed again by the Academy.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt to join 'The Dark Knight Rises?'

Rumors have been circulating around the internet that Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be recruited again by Christopher Nolan in his new Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises.

If that does happen, Gordon-Levitt will be joining some outstanding cast namely: Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hard, and Michael Caine.

This should be interesting. I wonder, would Joe be a villain or a sidekick? If he will play a villain though, Batman will have a hard time eliminating all of three of them including Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane. Yikes!

Cannot wait for the confirmation if Joe really is in.

'Inception' trailer

The trailer of the movie "Inception" (Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy) just came out a few days ago on the internet. Mind you, I just saw it a couple of minutes ago and I was dumbstruck. The trailer is AMAZING. Cannot wait for the movie and it's gonna be shown in iMax 3D!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the Peak of his career

Do you remember the boy in "Angels in the Outfield"? Yeah. That's him. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who once were just a kid and now, a full-grown, and might I add, a handsome one too, man.

If you didn't know already, this year he starred in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra as Cobra Commander, and the hit American romantic comedy film (500) Days of Summer, where he and co-star Zooey Deschanel are most-acclaimed by critics.

Next year, Gordon-Levitt will star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie Inception.

(500) Days of Summer!

I know summer is over here but what I'm talking about is the new film titled "(500) Days of Summer." It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (I remember him clearly as the guy in Angels in the Outfield because I like that movie) and Zooey Deschanel (I loved her the first time I saw her and not to mention she does look like Katy Perry).

Writer/director Marc Webb (before this, best known for the Green Day video "Waiting") hits some homeruns, especially in casting: The chemistry is palpable between Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. Deschanel, with her luminous eyes and oddly gorgeous face, is a heroine you don't mind looking at forever.

Gordon-Levitt plays a onetime aspiring architect who has settled for a job writing platitudes in graduation and Bar Mitzvah cards, when Deschanel joins the office. After they meet, he is convinced that Deschanel is "the One," whereas she doesn't believe in that kind of stuff and just wants to keep it casual. So begins a relationship that seemingly consists of effervescent visits to Ikea, breakups in diners and occasional indie-movie sex scenes - all is going swimmingly, until it's not.

But (500) Days of Summer is a self-professed "anti-love story," so it's important not to walk into it expecting a summer-love story, or at least, not one that lasts. But what it does offer is an original and expressive tale of a love affair from beginning to (possible) end - the oldest story in the movies, and one that renews itself time after time, just like love. (500) Days of Summer is an easy, breezy version of that, mostly getting you where it counts, and lingering fittingly.

One way or another, I cannot wait to see it! Just by looking at the trailer, I already see the good chemistry between Deschanel and Gordon-Levitt.
