Hey everyone! I'm back... for now. As this blog title suggests, I am here to talk about American Idol.
So here's what I think: Andrew Garcia and Lee Dewyze will be the top 2 finalists. I love Andrew and I really think he deserves to win. He's incredible; just listen to his voice and you know exactly he's an American Idol. On the other hand, I despise Lee. He's so trying hard and he's like another David Cook. America doesn't need another David Cook. But he seems like a favorite of the judges and the american peeps so yeah, whatever.
How about the other contestants? Okay, well, I don't like Crystal Bowersox. Surprised? She's over-confident and she definitely thinks she's gonna win it. I don't know. She may be right but I really really don't like her. Yeah, she may be good but she's no Alanis Morissette and I love Alanis. I hate her aura. I know she thinks she's a lot better than all of the contestants; it's obvious she has this superiority complex. She has a big ego. Period. And yeah, I don't want her to win even if the judges think she's pretty good.
I like Tim Urban, on the other hand, because he's adorable. I know he's not good (but he's not really bad either. Listen to his studio recordings) and he doesn't deserve to win (it's obvious he's not going to anyway). But what can I say? People vote for him because he looks cute and has charisma. You can't blame them. I'm just glad he got through top 10 and he will be joining this summer's tour.
I also don't like Siobhan Magnus. She's too predictable and only relies on her "screaming" note at the end of every song. She may have a good voice but it's not enough to become a star. Something's lacking and I can't describe what it is. She's also a favorite of the judges and well, I hate favorites.
To make things short, I don't like any girls in this season. The only girl I like is Lily Scott and she got voted off. She was very original and you can see she got what it takes. Maybe she wouldn't be the winner but she deserved to be on the top 12.
