Actors absent on the 83rd Academy Awards

I'm a bit disappointed with the Oscars this year mainly because there were a lot of actors who weren't present like Inception lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt as well as any other Inception cast. Maybe they're all busy filming a movie and since none of them were really nominated, they decided not to come or maybe Leo is just disappointed as well since he was snubbed again by the Academy.

Fireman's Fund, a company that insures 4 out of 5 Hollywood films, honored Angelina Jolie's Salt as the riskiest film of the past year. They explained that by Jolie doing her own stunts in the movie proved to be riskier for the production and for the star as well.

Hunk actor Brad Pitt, who's raising 6 children with Angelina Jolie, chooses the gown for his lovely partner to wear on the red carpet. Angie's stylists were blown away when Brad picked a blue Max Azria gown for Angie to wear at the SAG Awards 2009.

Hollywood Sightings: Brangelina & Johnny Depp

3 of my favorite actors looked absolutely fantastic on the red carpet of this year's Golden Globes. 

I honestly cannot believe how gorgeous Angeline Jolie looked when she arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel earlier, arm in arm with partner Brad Pitt. She wore an emerald sequined dress by Versace with long sleeves (she was literally glittering on the red carpet).  They looked mad in love with each other during the ceremony as Angie rests her head on Brad's shoulder. So sweet!

Shortly after, Johnny Depp arrived, however, alone without partner Vanessa Paradis.

The Tourist Review

I've finally watched The Tourist! Yay me. It was shown here in the Philippines today since foreign films had to give way to the Metro Manila Film Fest (which is totally disgusting, you don't want to know about that). I had to watch this on the first day because when I want to see a movie so bad, I don't miss it on the first day. That's how dedicated I am, especially when the movie involves Angelina Jolie or Johnny Depp. In this case, it involves the two of them which made me really really excited since the beginning this film was announced. If you are all unaware, it was my dream to see Angie and Johnny together in film, and what do you know? It came true!

Angelina Jolie Not Celebrating Thanksgiving

As the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving day this Thursday, UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie won't be a part of it, Rob Shuter of Popeater reports.

"Angelina Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans," a friend of the actress tells Shuter. "To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn't her style. She definitely doesn't want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder."

"Angelina gets so grossed out by Thanksgiving that she has made sure her family will not be in America this year on Thursday," an insider tells Shuter.

A family friend said, "If Brad wants turkey, he will have to cook it himself. For Angie, it will be another day when America tries to rewrite history."

Jolie is currently filming her directorial debut film about a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who fall in love on the eve of war.

Johnny Depp on Angelina: "She's a really cool broad."

Johnny Depp has revealed how he bonded with Angelina Jolie on their first ever meeting - by talking about their children.

Hollywood's most popular stars had never met before being called to discuss starring in an action thriller called The Tourist.

But as soon as Depp started talking about his two children and Jolie her brood of six they found they had much in common.

'We sat there and babbled about our kids, and it was a huge relief,' said Depp.
'I was pleasantly surprised that she has an incredibly perverse sense of humour. She's a really cool broad.'
The pairing of Depp and Jolie, the two most popular actors in Hollywood, is a casting agents dream come true.
They appear in The Tourist with Jolie playing a seductive English woman on the run from Russian mobsters.
The film is expected to be one of the biggest box office hits of 2010.

Jolie admitted in an interview with Entertainment Weekly magazine that she had been nervous waiting to meet 47-year-old Depp.

But she said she relaxed when she saw photos of his girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their children in his Hollywood office.

'As I was waiting, I noticed these beautiful pictures,' she said.

'He's an artist, and you feel that in any space he's in. When he walked in, he was as interesting as I'd hoped he be.'

Jolie,35, admitted she was a huge fan of Depp and had watched his performance of the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland numerous times with her children and partner Brad Pitt.

The Tourist starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp will be in cinemas, December this year. This is my dream movie, to have two of the biggest stars in Hollywood and I can't believe it finally came true!

Angelina Jolie as Maleficent?

As you all very well know, Angelina Jolie is my all-time favorite actress, without a doubt, and I would love to see her in every film.

Lately, a circulating rumor spread out through the internet that Jolie was interested taking on Tim Burton's Maleficent as the lead villain herself. That won't be too bad, would it? I actually think it's great. lol

Although the cast for the upcoming project is still unknown, I am crossing my fingers for Angie to take on this. She's beautiful and bad-ass enough.

Brangelina Staying Together for the Sake of their Careers?

ANGELINA Jolie’s high-profile relationship with Brad Pitt is a “total sham” — insiders say.

A former employee of the Hollywood couple — who raise six children together — claims Angelina and Brad stay together to boost their careers.

“The relationship is a total sham,” the source said. “They both have other people on the side.

“They only stay together for the kids and for the sake of continuing to build their empire.”

Angelina’s former bodyguard said earlier this week that Pitt and Jolie often sleep in separate rooms.

“Angelina nitpicks Brad — criticizing him constantly,” said the former bodyguard. “She says things like, ‘Are you going to wear that shirt again today?’ and tells him he’s like another one of the kids.”

According to the former guard, Brad has come to dread Angelina’s phone calls.

“She’ll call him from the set to interrogate him,” said the ex bodyguard. “His face goes white, and he just stares at his feet.”

Brangelina not attending the Golden Globes

It is with great sadness, especially to me, to bring you news that Brad Pitt and the lovely Angelina Jolie will not be attending The Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (Jan 17, 2010). This was confirmed by Brad's manager yesterday morning.

Aww sad. I was waiting for the Golden Globes just because I thought I'd see them on the red carpet. :(


Gossip: Jennifer Aniston will be presenting at the Globes, and they say that's the reason why Brangelina is not coming. Ummm.. Excuse me?

Brangelina buys a 1000-acre home!

The power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (or Angie as I like to call her 'cause we are THAT close :p) bought a 1000-acre estate in the South of France for all of their kids to enjoy a nice and huge space. And it IS huge. Not to mention it was worth around $60-$70 million.

Back in 2008, they rented a luxurious and private mansion in France and when they come back sometime ago, they decided to purchase it and make it as their own.

"It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence, and it’s absolutely unbelievable..." says one source, according to Hollywood Grind and other popular celebrity news reports.

Brad and Angelina will not be the first, last, or only International Star set to make the South of France a major home base. Historically, royal European nobles and aristocracy have all flocked to the region for it's quiet pace and resort warm to moderately temperate climate feeling.

Some of the couple's will include Johnny Depp and Bono of U2. Now THAT is a good neighborhood.

Angelina Jolie got robbed

My favorite actress, the ever lovely Angelina Jolie, got her wardrobe stolen. Not to mention all those designer clothing that are worth thousands of dollars!

Reports say that the clothes were stolen from LA stylist Jennifer Rade's home this past Thursday night. It is said that Angie was having all those designer items for her future use in her promotions.

Poor Angie. But anyway, whatever she wears, even if it isn't designer clothing, she still looks stunning.
